    Batida / Cookie policy

    Cookie policy

    Batida Group sp. z o.o.

The Polish version is legally binding.

    Cookie Policy

    Effective from: 04.10.2026

This Policy describes how the batida.pl store (as well as b2b.batida.pl and account.batida.pl) uses cookies and similar technologies, on what legal grounds we do so and how you can manage your consent. The operator of the websites and the entity storing cookies is Batida Group sp. z o.o., ul. Łowicka 58/13, 02-531 Warszawa (company details: Privacy Policy).

    1. What cookies and similar technologies are

    1. Cookies are small text files stored by your browser on your device. They usually contain the name of the website, the storage period and a unique identifier. The following work in a similar way: the browser's local storage (localStorage, sessionStorage), tracking pixels and measurement scripts.
    2. "Session" cookies disappear when you close your browser; "persistent" cookies remain for the period set in their parameters or until they are deleted.
    3. "First-party" cookies are stored by batida.pl (including the Shopify platform on which the Store runs); "third-party" cookies are stored by our providers (e.g. Google, Microsoft, Meta).

    2. Legal basis and consent

    1. We store cookies necessary for the Store to function without your consent - this is permitted by Art. 399 of the Act of 12 July 2024 - Electronic Communications Law, because they are necessary to provide the service you request (e.g. the cart, logging in, payment, remembering your consent).
    2. We store other cookies (analytics, marketing) only after you have given your consent in the cookie banner. Consent is voluntary, and not giving it does not restrict your purchases. We process personal data collected by these cookies on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
    3. We show the banner on your first visit. You can accept analytics and marketing cookies or refuse them (with the refuse button or by closing the banner) - in that case we store only necessary cookies. We save your choice in the _tracking_consent cookie for 12 months; after that time we will ask you again. You can reopen the banner at any time using the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page of the Store (section 3).
    4. We pass on your decision from the banner to the analytics and marketing tools through the consent mechanism of the Shopify platform: without your consent they do not store their cookies. For Google tools this works in Consent Mode - Google Analytics and Google Ads then receive only anonymised signals without identifiers.

    3. How to change or withdraw your consent

    1. In the Store: click "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page of the Store. The banner will open again and you can change your choice or withdraw your consent - as easily as you gave it. The change takes effect from that moment; withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.
    2. In your browser: you can also delete the _tracking_consent cookie (or all batida.pl cookies) - on your next visit the banner will be shown again and you will choose anew. In your browser settings you can also delete stored cookies and block new ones (Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge have these options in their privacy section). Blocking necessary cookies will make it impossible to make purchases in the Store.
    3. You can also manage Google ads at adssettings.google.com, and Meta ads in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.

    4. Cookie categories and tools

Apps running in the Store (e.g. Judge.me reviews, the loyalty programme) may store their own cookies in the necessary or functional category, solely to provide their function. You can see the current list of cookies in your browser's developer tools.

Providers of analytics and marketing tools may also process data outside the EEA - the rules are described in section 6 of the Privacy Policy.

    5. Pixels and links in e-mails

Our order messages do not contain tracking pixels. We send the newsletter using Shopify Email; these messages may contain an open-tracking pixel and tracked links so that we know which content interests you - this is based on your consent to the newsletter, which you can withdraw using the link in the footer of every message.

    6. Changes to the Policy

We update this Policy when we change tools. The current version is always available at batida.pl/pages/polityka-cookies.
