Sweet mail really exists! Batida starts shipping cakes all over Poland
Warsaw, May 2025 – After two years of testing, adjustments, prototypes with needles in the cake, and many eaten “squished cakes,” Batida announces something special:
from now on, you can order our iconic pastries with delivery to any place in Poland – in elegant wooden boxes or modern, safe tins. Fresh. Never frozen. Straight from our workshop.
This is not just a change in logistics. It’s a change in thinking about what a gift, a present, or a “just because” gesture can be.
Now you can send cheesecake, red velvet, or tiramisu for Mother’s Day, birthdays, anniversaries, or simply out of longing. And not through just any platform, but from a bakery you’ve known for years.
“We wanted our customers to experience the same taste and quality they know from our bakeries – whether they are in Warsaw, Krakow, or Bydgoszcz,” says Caroline Radziszewska, Vice President of Batida.

The idea was born – like many great ideas – in the middle of the night. First, there were projects from external companies that ended absurdly (pulling needles out of cake? No, thank you), then the first successful attempts with wooden boxes. Next – a partnership with DPD Food, thanks to which cakes are transported in refrigerated conditions, hand to hand, without transfers or freezing.
Today, every cake that reaches the customer travels at a temperature of 0–4°C. And looks as if you picked it up yourself from the bakery. Because that’s exactly what we wanted.

And if not a box – then a tin!
Tiramisu in a tin? Yes. Red velvet? Absolutely. Tins are practical, aesthetic, protect the cake well, and... allow you to eat with a spoon straight from the package – on the beach, on a train, at a picnic, or at work.
It’s a bit of a counter to flower delivery – we’ve tentatively called it sweet mail. Because if you can send roses to Lublin, why not a fruitcake?
Add a note, a few warm words, even a joke – and send it.
Instead of a postcard from Gdynia – cheesecake from Batida.
Instead of “when will we see each other again?” – red velvet in a tin with a dedication.

What can you send?
– Cheesecakes, apple pie, banana bread, lemon cake
– Cakes in tins – including tiramisu, red velvet, love
– All sweets from our offer, including the popular Dubai chocolate
– Delicacies – all our seasonal dishes sealed in glass jars
– Seasonal products (Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas, and others)
All cakes are prepared the day before delivery in our workshop in Warsaw’s Wola district, and then handed over to a refrigerated courier. We don’t freeze, shorten the route, or lower standards.

We accept orders at www.batida.pl
Sweet mail is already operating throughout Poland – everywhere DPD Food delivers.
So if you miss someone, want to say thank you, surprise, or simply make someone (or yourself) happy – send Batida.
